As you head for the West Rim of the Grand Canyon where the Hualapai Indian Reservation is located, we'll make a brief stop at Hoover Dam for picture taking. As you travel along the Southwest desert of Arizona, we'll tell you about the beautiful 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest, and give you some history on the early inhabitants. Upon arrival at the West Rim, we'll enjoy a barbeque lunch prepared by members of the Hualapai Tribe or a Cowboy Cook-Out (subject to change and availability). Then it's time to walk along the rim of the canyon & see the Great Thunderbird image nature created along with many other unusual formations. We'll also see authentic curios and art objects the craftsmen of the reservation have on display. NEW!!! Now open is the Skywalk, a glass bridge with fantastic views of the canyon below. This is an optional part of the tour. The admission to the Skywalk is an additional $25, paid the day of the tour. All passengers must be at least 5 years old. No children under 5 are permitted.
